TRACING APP FROM STATE OF WISCONSIN
-
The State of Wisconsin is launching a Covid-19 tracing app for smartphones today. This app will allow the user to opt in and if they do they will receive notifications if they are determined to have been in close contact with someone who tests positive for Covid-19. This technology uses Bluetooth and not GPS and does not track GPS locations. Any notifications you may receive are anonymous to protect everyone’s privacy. This app will be available via the Google Play store on Android devices and Apple users should receive a notification automatically to either opt in or out of the app. This use of the app is completely voluntary and users can choose whether or not they wish to opt in.
