Brittany graduated from UW-Eau Claire with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in May of 2009. She started working as a Public Health Nurse with the Clark County Health Department in 2009, became the Lead Public Health Nurse, and was promoted to Health Officer/Director in 2019. 

 

Public health is her passion.  She is proud of all the Health Department staff members and partners for the collective work and positive impact they are making in Clark County. As a lifelong resident of Clark County, she is truly honored to be given the opportunity to lead the Health Department and serve the residents of Clark County.

 

Brittany resides in Clark County with her husband and her 3 little boys. Some of her hobbies include spending time family and friends, running, biking, going to beaches and lakes in the summer, snowmobiling, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors.

Lead Public Health Nurse

Kelsey obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from UW-Eau Claire in May 2015, and was hired as a Public Health Nurse for the Clark County Health Department in July 2015. Kelsey took on a new role as the Lead Public Health Nurse in February 2020. Although Kelsey plays a part in several programs, the two main programs that she leads is the Reproductive Health and Immunization programs. Kelsey finds a lot of satisfaction in being a Nurse, but her favorite role is being a Mom to her three, beautiful daughters. When Kelsey is not working, she likes to spend time with her family. December is her favorite month, as preparing for Christmas Day is something she looks forward to every year! Kelsey is excited to continue serving the members of Clark County for many years to come.

Corrine graduated from UW-Eau Claire with her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in May of 2016. After graduation, she worked as a Pediatric Registered Nurse at Marshfield Children’s Hospital for almost 4 years, before transitioning to the Clark County Health Department in March of 2020. She lives at home with her husband, their son, and their two Labrador fur babies. They love spending time “up at the lake” with family and friends, where everyone enjoys fishing and sitting around the campfire. She has loved being able to expand her nursing career, at the Clark County Health Department as a Public Health Nurse, in the way of continuing to help the community. She has always had a special place in her heart for children and their families, and enjoys being able to continue to take care of that population in Clark County.

Katie graduated from UW Eau Claire with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in December of 2015. Following graduation, she worked at Marshfield Clinic in the hospital Operating Room, specializing in orthopedic surgery. She started at the Clark County Health Department in September 2019. Katie is involved in many programs including the Prenatal and Postnatal education program, Childhood Lead prevention, Car Seats for Kids, Safe Kids Wood and Clark County, and several other injury prevention programs. Katie loves the education aspect of nursing, and enjoys being on the prevention end of nursing after having worked in the OR. She lives at home with her husband and daughter, and plans to remain in the area for many years. She likes to spend her free time with her family and friends, and loves being outside kayaking, gardening, or going for walks.

Megan graduated from UW-Eau Claire with her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in May of 2003. She previously worked at the Clark County Health Department from 2004 – 2011, when she left the department to start a family. Megan rejoined the Clark County Health Department in March of 2020 to assist with the COVID response, and is excited to expand her role within the health department in January 2023. She resides in Abbotsford with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and hiking.

Judy graduated from MSTC with ADN in Nursing in 1994.  Worked at Memorial Medical Center in ER, OB, Pre-Post OP, Recovery, Med/Surg and as a shift supervisor. Then worked at Tomah VA in UC, Contessa as a RCC, and Marshfield Clinic in the Cardiac Stress Lab. She has 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Her hobbies include spending time with family, travel, photography and DIY projects.

Environmental Health Specialist II/Sanitarian

Dillon has been working for the Clark County Health Department since July of 2019. He graduated from UW-Stout in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a concentration in Environmental Health. Dillon’s roles at the Health Department includes; well water sampling for the DNR Transient Non-Community program, beach testing, lead investigations, animal bite follow up, environmental concern follow-up, and inspections of restaurants, retail, and recreation facilities. In his free time Dillon likes to go fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and he also enjoys hiking. He looks forward to serving Clark County and seeing where his new career will take him.

Paige started with Clark County Health Department in June of 2023. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls with a degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in meat animal production and a minor in Agricultural Business. Paige’s roles with the department include: inspections of restaurants, retail, and recreation facilities, beach testing, well water sampling, animal bite follow-up, and lead investigations. In her free time, Paige enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hunting, traveling, and the beauty of winter.

Rebecca has been working at the Health Department since April, 2015. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion/Wellness from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2012.  She is also a certified Community Health Educator Specialist. 

​

Some of the projects/programs Rebecca oversees include: Clark County’s Community Health Assessment (CHA); Clark County’s Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP); implementing hydroponic gardens into schools and daycares; Narcan training; the county-wide Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS); tobacco compliance checks; and Question, Persuade, Refer suicide-prevention training. She currently serves as a member on Clark County’s Prevention Partnership, the Eat Right Be Fit Coalition, and the employee-sponsored Wellness Committee.

 

Rebecca resides in Greenwood with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys playing trivia with her family and traveling. Her main bucket list item is to visit all of the 63 National Parks. Fun fact: Rebecca has hiked to the top of Mount Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest peak!

Finance Manager

Alyssa started with the Clark County Health Department in February of 2021 after working with the Clark County Office of Finance since March, 2018. She went to college at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota with classes in Business Administration and Accounting. Alyssa will be working with the CCHD to help integrate the nursing side of work with the billing side to streamline more of the processes and further optimize the work done in the department. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family, cooking and keeping up with her vegetable garden in the Summer.

Brianna obtained her Medical Assistant degree from Mid-State Technical College in May 2020, and was hired as an Administrative Assistant in June 2022. She has always had a passion for helping others, which drew her to this position. Brianna resides in Neillsville with her husband, Brett, and their two children. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, camping, and going to the lake in the summer. She looks forward to serving Clark County and assisting the department reach their mission.

Kaye graduated from Northcentral Technical College in 2007 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She started her career as a dental assistant and moved forward to hygiene school. Since then, she has been working in private practice. Kaye has been with the Seal-A-Smile program since 2020. She enjoys working with children and educating patients on dental and overall health. Kaye resides in Thorp with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys walking and running, bow hunting, being outdoors, working in the garden, attending kid's sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. Kaye looks forward to another successful school year of serving the kids in Clark County.

Deann graduated from North Central Technical College in 2013 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She started her dental hygiene career at the Black River Falls Dental Center and then transitioned to its sister clinic in Neillsville. She worked full-time for five years as a hygienist before deciding to stay home and raise her babies. She lives in Granton with her two boys and husband. She loves working out at home and spending time with friends and family. She is very excited to return to the hygiene world and work as an RDH with the Seal-A-Smile program. Her passion is working with kids, so being in the school setting is something she is very excited for.

The Clark County Board of Health (BOH) is a nine member board with County Board of Supervisors and At-Large Appointed Community Members.  The BOH assesses public health needs and advocates for the provision of reasonable and necessary public health services. The board provides leadership that fosters local involvement and commitment, which emphasizes public health needs and advocates for equitable distribution of public health resources.
