Clark County ATV & Snowmobile Trails Update

January 9th, 2020

All ATV and Snowmobile trails located on Public Lands in Clark County will open to riders on Saturday January 11th, 2020. All other ATV and Snowmobile trails located on Private Lands in Clark County will remain closed.

Riders can expect early season riding conditions, including ice patches and thin areas of snow base. Riders are reminded to use caution while riding.

Clark County Clubs and Volunteers will continue to evaluate trails located on Private Lands. Many areas are very close to being ready and once an adequate snow base is present and conditions are safe for operation, they will open.

Please note that UTV’s are not allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the winter months (November 1- May 14).

Clark County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and/or openings please contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-743-5140, or visit the county website at www.clarkcountywi.com for more information on our trail system.
